What a Day!

Today was busy! It was a roller coaster to say the least. We found out this morning that R didn't get paid as much as he thought so that put him in a terrible mood before he even checked with his boss to see what the deal was. Turns out they pay out vacation a little later. So apparently we can have a paper check cut if we need it sooner. Since we have bills to pay this month we'll need to call the lady and try to get a paper check earlier. He was flipping out like he wasn't prepared for the fact that money was going to be tough, like it just hit him today, which annoys me.

I took Little man to preschool and then Baby M to his dr.'s appt. Baby M is growing well and is already 4 weeks old and 10 pounds!!!!!!!!! He got his He.p B vaccine and everything looks wonderful with him. I also picked up Little man and there was a parent meeting after class. The teacher told us that they might have to close the daycare/preschool because of budget and money problems. They want the parents to get involved and write letters/fund raise/etc.. to keep it open. I hope they don't have to close but if they do it won't be until December 19th.

I had my OB check up appointment today also and things look good. I can begin running again and he gave me a script for birth control. The great thing is that I got 3 packs at once so I don't have to worry that we don't have insurance. I was cleared to resume "all regular activities" so I'm assuming that also includes sex!

My interview went really good, not much of an interview though. He saw that I already had a lot of experience so he just told me about the district. Then I met with the woman who coordinates subs and she went over my paperwork and gave me the information to get fingerprinted. I go tomorrow at 9am to get my fingerprints and hopefully I can start subbing within a week. I'm not sure how long it takes for my fingerprints to process and the school district to get the information.

Wow lady you have a lot going on! After S got laid off, it took what felt like forever to get his final paychecks. If these recent interviews R has been going on don't pan out (which I've been praying for you that they do!!), don't forget about unemployment assistance as a means of income. Its a pain in the ass to get enrolled, but its $364/week, which is a heck of a lot better than nothing! S signed up for it and you basically just call them every other week to tell them you haven't had any income and they just put the money in your bank account. Since he has been doing side jobs, on those weeks he just tells them he doesn't need the money and they kind of give him a credit by adding on an additional week that he can get unemployment.

Also - YAY for running again!! Just remember to take it slow, no injuries allowed! :)
