Great Weekend!

This weekend was so relaxing and we had a really great time. R and I have totally gotten into O.ne Tre.e Hil.l. He started watching it on the s.oap ope.ra ne.twork since he's been a stay at home dad. I made fun of him for a long time but he kept telling me it was a really good show. It was sort of a joke but I got him season 1 on DVD for Christmas from Baby M because they usually watched it together while Little man was napping. Well to make a long story short, we are addicted. It is the best show and it's been so much fun hanging out with my hubby watching episodes. We have two more episodes left of season 1 and then I found season 2 on Crai.gslist for $12 so hopefully we'll get that because we have some Chris.tmas money left after paying our bills this month and I think it's acceptable to take a small portion and actually spend it on a gift for ourselves. All the money we got, including the money the kids got went towards January bills because we were short this month since I had two weeks off for Chris.tmas break.

Speaking of work......I should have knocked on some wood because I was commenting to several people when they asked about subbing, how incredibly easy it was to find jobs. Well after last week and getting 5 sub jobs cancelled, only working two days, and having nothing scheduled for this coming week I was really wishing that I would have taken the time to just knock a few times on something wooden. I always seem to jinx myself and I also have a knack for jinxing other people too. Luckily, I found a half day sub job at 10:30pm tonight for a teacher at the high school tomorrow afternoon. The particular teacher has conference and lunch until 12:12pm so I'll get there at 10:45 and then have a break until 12:12, then teach the last two hours of the day. I'll be home by 3pm so it should be an easy day. I'm just hoping that I can find jobs for Tuesday-Thursday. They have Friday and the following Monday off for a teacher planning day and then ML.K Jr. day so it's already a short week. The pay period ends on Thursday so I really need to get days in this week so I'll have a descent sized check at the end of the month.
