Busy Week

So R and I had the most jam packed weekend! Saturday I had a scrapbooking get together at my best friend's house. I was so frazzled and ended up forgetting an integral box so we had to drive the 40 minutes back home and I totally made R and Little man late for tailgating, seeing the marching band, and going to the game. Well they made it just in time for the marching band and game but missed all the friends and kids at tailgate :o( Luckily, I made a good amount of money so it was worth my time. We didn't get home until 7pm and I sat up until 11pm finishing my project for my class.

Sunday we woke up early and took Little Man to my parents house and didn't end up getting home until 5pm after running some errands! R had a huge project to complete for his second job. I don't know if I've mentioned lately but he is still employed at the job he left in FL because they can't find someone to fill his place. Luckily he can do his whole job over the computer so it works out GREAT! This has been so great for us because we are getting so much debt paid off.
It doesn't allow for much extra time to get the house organized and conquer my ever so growing To-Do list.

So for the next three days I am going to bust my butt and try to get as much done as possible! There is a lot of outside work but I'm going to work on the inside today and see how far I get. The walls need washed, Little man's room needs paint touch ups, finish unpacking boxes and cleaning the stuff (it got soooo dirty in the storage unit!) and I need to do all the clerical work that goes along with a move, like changing the addresses on all my bills. I also still have one paper to write for school but the prof is so behind and hasn't even posted our last assignment yet!!!!!

Then there's Thanksgiving!!!!!!! I can't wait for dinner even though my husband is not the one cooking this year :o( This is his holiday to make the best dinner but unfortunately we had no idea we would have a house in time for Thanksgiving. We are going to Indiana to my aunt's house so hopefully that's fun! Hopefully I'll get a ton done this week and we'll have a fun 4 day break of eating :o)

The Move

We are in our new house with all our things!!!!! It's been like Christmas unpacking all of our things that have pretty much been in boxes for half a year!!!!! I forgot that I had some of the things that I have and also forgotten that I decided not to keep other things.

Me: R where is the dust buster?

R: We threw it out, remember

Me: We threw it out? Did I agree to that?

R: Yes, you were the one who said it was too disgusting to keep and that we could buy another one

Me: Oh, yeah, ok

Luckily there aren't too many exchanges like that! I did have to buy a new dust buster and new bathroom rugs today because we did indeed decide not to have them accompany us to MI.

R has been AMAZING!!!!!!! He did so much of the moving all by himself and thanks to my father, my mom and I just got to keep Little Man occupied and help here and there. We still have a lot to unpack but all of our stuff is here and we are finally in a house of our own!!!!!! It's been my dream soooooooo long. Unfortunately I haven't been able to unpack and organize as quickly as I would have like to because of school. I have about three more weeks left of one class and this week is my last week for the other class. The class that ends this week though is very time consuming because I have tons of reading and papers to write. I'm actually supposed to be doing classwork right now but I took a break to blog. I have one more article to read and then a 1-2 page paper to write summarizing the article and then a 5-7 page paper tying the whole unit together and reflecting on the scholarship of Har.ry Pott.er. I'm also going to have one more paper assigned this week as a culmination of the semester.

I better get back to work!!!!
