Christmas and Curtain

Our Christmas was nice. I made brunch in the morning, my mom, dad, and brother were here and we opened Santa presents Christmas morning and did all other presents the night before. R made a huge dinner in the afternoon on Christmas day and my grandma, grandpa, and two aunts came to join us and see the house. It was a nice day, but I'm exhausted!

So on to the curtain. Little man got cash from my grandparents and my aunt. I decided that I was going to buy a curtain for his room since we previously had a blanket hanging up in the window. I suppose I can't really call myself a decorator because I hate the curtain. I decided that since the walls were blue I didn't want a blue curtain. I decided to go with white since it would match the molding in the room and be a nice contrast with the blue. I wanted a special black out panel though because I like to keep the room dark at nap time and at night during the summer when he's going to be when it's still light out. I got the tab like curtains with a blackout panel (also white) to go behind it. R hung the curtain and I just don't like it. There is no way I'm taking it back because it would be way too much trouble since it's already hung. Hopefully it will grow on me and I'll begin to like it.

So we basically only have one day to relax since we tackled the mall today to buy little man's curtain, it was so busy! Friday we head up to R's parent's house for Christmas. I'm just really tired and ready to get back on our schedule. I like R being off but it always seems to throw off our schedule. Hosting people at our house was a lot of work and I've just been really tired. We're still trying to clean up from that and get everything back in order after the holiday.
