What a Weekend!

It sure was an eventful weekend! We met R's sister for lunch on Saturday and then went to the mall to get a few things afterwards. Little man needed some more pants because he's growing out of his. After we got home around 7pm I started seeing spots and feeling a little dizzy, then the massive headache came on and the nausea. It was a migraine headache, the second one that I've gotten in my life, but boy did they start out exactly the same. The only other time I got a migraine was when I was preggo with Little man, but I was farther along in the pregnancy. I actually threw up this time and was in bed for the rest of the night. I felt better yesterday but still a little weak.

Then to add to the weekend's excitement we went grocery shopping yesterday. Little man needed more toothpaste. He spotted some C@rs toothpaste and it had fluoride in it. We usually buy the kind without fluoride because he was still young. Well we figured he was old enough to learn how to spit it out. Well except for the fact that he snuck into the bathroom, opened the safety seal on the toothpaste and proceeded to brush his teeth with it without us knowing. There was a bunch in the sink and he said he spit it out. It didn't appear as though he had used THAT much, but apparently he did. While he was eating dinner he proceeded to puke up everything including the blue toothpaste, which there was quite a bit of. R handled the situation perfectly and kept completely calm. So needless to say if your kids eat too much fluoride toothpaste they will throw up. Hopefully he got the point and will never try that again!
