Happy New Year
Well I definitely am going to put he conceiving thing on hold. It was stupid to even consider that when we have no idea where we're going to be in 5 months and have no idea if we'll have jobs. Both of my best friends gave me their honest opinion and I guess I was just letting what I want get in the way of reality and being smart. It also could have been the half bottle of wine that I consumed because at the time it seemed like a really good idea. It sucks though that I have to wait.
I have gotten so much done since I've been home on break and it feels so nice. I am feeling very prepared for this year and I hope that it's an exciting one since we are leaving Florida and returning home to Michigan. It's going to be a busy year, that's for sure. I'm starting my master's degree in less than a week, we move in less that 5 months, and Little man is going to turn 2 soon. Hopefully we'll move back, get jobs, get insurance, and we'll be pregnant before the end of 2007 too!!!! I'm really thinking that I would like to take some time off and complete my master's degree, online tutor for part time money, and be a stay at home mommy.
I'm so glad that I work for such a great school district in that they give us ample time off during the holidays. I go back next Monday and the kids don't come back until next Tuesday. I hope to get planned for all the weeks up until FCAT so that I can concentrate on finding fun activities and projects for the kids to work on that will reinforce skills they need for the test. I feel much more organized after having the past week and a half off. I packed my first box last night (albeit small and only books) it was very exciting!!!!! We are collecting boxes and are starting to little by little pack up some stuff that we know we won't need.
I was supposed to start my running program with my husband today but it's been raining since after lunch and Little man is so sick. He has a fever, is coughing, and has a runny nose. He has bearly drank or ate anything all day long. I started pushing Gatorade mixed with water so that he wouldn't get dehydrated because he hadn't had wet diapers. I went to CVS this morning and got him Tylenol Cold and Cough but it doesn't seem to be working as well as it usually does. We're trying to figure out if we should take him to the dr. tomorrow or not. Instead of running I found a great strength training workout that takes about 20 minutes and I all I need is my stability ball and my dumbells so I'm going to do that instead. I also may try to fit in yoga. I tutor at 7pm though so not sure if I'll complete everything. It might be a slow night, I'm not sure so maybe I could multi task and do some working out during that time.
New Year's eve was mellow, ate, drank, and got merry. It was low key and fun to hang out with my husband and watch the ball drop. Although, all the New Year's eve shows seemed really LAME this year. We kept flipping around trying to find a descent one and never seemed to find one. I'm glad that Dick Clark is okay but it's really sad to see him on the show. I feel really bad for him. I hope everyone had a great time!!!!
