Where Do the Weeks Go?

I cannot believe that it's Thursday already! I thought the weeks went by fast when I was working because I was always so busy, but they definitely go by at lightening speed now that I am staying at home. The weather has been up and down this week, we've had two nice days (well if you can call the 40's nice, I do!) and then two days that were cloudy with snow and rain. Today is one of those not so nice days. We've been outside everyday despite the weather it's just a matter of finding a little window that isn't too bad. Next week is supposed to be nicer with some temps in the 50's, which would be GREAT!

So I've managed to keep the house clean most of the week. I'm finally getting a routine down so that things don't get completely messy every day. I've come to realize that sweeping the kitchen floor needs to happen 2-3 times per day in addition to pulling out the cleaner to just wipe down the counters/bathrooms/whatever helps immensely! I feel so much better when the house isn't cluttered and messy all the time. I've always considered myself an organized person, however, I'm not as good at what I thought.

I'm looking forward to the weekend because it will be the first time in I can't remember how many years my three college roommates and I will be together. One is getting married and then the rest of us are finally going to be together at the wedding/reception. I haven't seen my very best friend since my wedding (gosh has it been THAT long????) I can't believe that I haven't seen my best friend in almost three years. Time just flies and I just somehow manage to lose track of time. She lives in Maryland and since we've been moving and completely busy with a child and everything else, a trip to MD just hasn't worked out. Her family lives here in MI but whenever she comes home it's at holiday times and we're both so busy with all of our family obligations. Her wedding is in August so I will get to see her a couple times this year! I talk to her a couple times per week so we're definitely close and keep in touch, however, it will be so nice to see her.
