All Better!

I was able to miraculously get an eye doctor appointment today at 9:20 and get a trial pair of soft contact lenses to get me by until my new gas permeables ones come in. This is what I had to do before so I've had some experience with soft lenses. I wanted to permanently switch but they were going to cost too much money. So I am going to my graduation and I will be able to see. I didn't want to just wear one being pregnant and all because I'm already having huge anxiety of tripping on the stage and struggling with what shoes to wear so that I don't trip.

We had such a busy day though because we had to drive R to work, kill 2 hours until the eye dr. appt (keep in mind it was 7-9 so not much is open), entertain Little man in the eye dr, have lunch with R, drive home, and then drive back to pick up R later in the afternoon. From there we had to drop Little man off at the neighbor's house and head to counseling.

Tonight in counseling we mainly focused on R and his blow up and what led up to it as well as discovered some interesting things about him. I think it was very insightful for him as well as me and I think we are making really great progress. It's amazing what a third party can point out or what they see that we are missing! He was very honest about the blow up and we talked about the fact that there were underlying issues at work and what caused the blow up as well as what we can do in the future. I am very proud that he is willing to work on things and I really can't wait to discuss some issues of mine so I can find some points to ponder as well as discover some things about myself and how it fits into our relationship.

Tomorrow we head to graduation. We were going to spend a fun day in our college town but the weather is supposed to be crappy and most everything I wanted to do was outdoors so who knows if that will work. We have dinner reservations at 4pm and graduation is at 7pm, but I have to be there at 6:15pm. Hopefully the weather will cooperate for at least some pictures. The contacts may have been the least of my worries as rain does a number to my hair!!!!!!!! I'm sure it will be a great day no matter what, pray I don't fall!
