I Got a Car!
It's only temporary but it's been nice to actually go out and have the option to see the real world beyond where my own two legs can take us on a day to day basis. My brother is in NC for the summer working at a ki.ds wei.ght lo.ss ca.mp so I'm borrowing his car while he's gone. It's actually the car I used to drive from 2001-2005 so getting it back flooded my mind with all these old memories of the time in my life when I had the car. It was a pretty weird feeling. It actually brought back the most memories of being pregnant last time. It's the car that I had when I was pregnant with Little man and after I had him for about 6 months. It's so funny how a car you used to drive can make memory after memory pop into your head.
The one problem I can see with having a car though is that I want to go places now and most of the places I want to go are stores or restaurants where I would have to spend money. I've thought of a million places that we could go but I've been really good and only chosen to go to my dr. appt, grocery shopping, the library, and the local grocery store. I've wanted to go to Tar.get, Hom.e De.pot, Pan.era, and Big.gby's coffee, just to name a few, but luckily I've had self control. Gas is so expensive that I can't afford to fill up so I'm hoping this tank of gas will last me for a LONG time. We only go 5-10 miles at a time, if that, so it should last quite a while.

I'm the same way. Somehow leaving the house = spending money. It's the worse during the summer, because I try to keep the air at 78 to save money but I get so cranky from being so hot. So I'll got to the mall to cool off with the kids. The mall is such an evil temptress. :)
