Random Thoughts/Events

• It's windy and rainy today- Little man and I went for a long walk this morning because I knew it was going to rain so I'm actually glad that it's raining because my plants and flowers need it. Also, a rainy TV/movie day is always a nice break from the on the go days we usually have.
• I have this urge to make peanut butter cookies- We have no chocolate chips and I'm seriously craving something sweet. I don't particularly love peanut butter cookies but that's the only thing I could find which includes all the ingredients that I have on hand.
• I'm torn about whether or not to go through with R's Chicago b-day trip- We don't have a lot of extra money and my tutoring hours are going to be cut down significantly during the summer. I am getting my student loan refund so I was going to use part of it for the trip but I'm having anxiety that I'll need the money later on. I want his birthday to be special and I got a lot of cheap and good deals for this trip but I'm still very torn.
• I'm nervous that I opened the door to the fact that my in laws may watch Little man the weekend of R's trip- My mom was going to watch Little man that weekend but then it seems as though I need her to watch him the next weekend too since we have a wedding on a Friday night and it's going to be a late night. My cousin's open house is the next day so it would be more convenient for her to come the next weekend instead because then we could just head to my cousin's open house the next day.
• I'm going to Ohio this weekend- We have a baby shower to go to and I've never met the girl. It's my cousin's wife and since I missed pretty much all of my cousin's weddings due to being in FL I haven't seen them for many, many years (we didn't see them much anyway)
• Little man is potty trained!!!!!!- He recently just started pooping in the potty and is in underwear all day long. We only need pull ups during nap and overnight which I'm sure we will not be needing soon, either. I hope the second one is much easier to train because I'm not sure if I can take the stress again. It's so true that they do it when they are ready though!
