We Made It!!!!!!
R and I had the most wonderful time in Mary.land. The wedding was so gorgeous and it was so nice to hang out with friends and explore a new city. If you ever get the chance to visit Balti.more, go, it's a very cool city. Now we're back and reality has set in........
I had my dr. appt. yesterday and I'm slightly annoyed because the dr's keep saying they'll get me in for an ultrasound. First it was 32 weeks, then 36, and yesterday he said 38 weeks. He's almost positive he's head down but I'm skeptical due to what happened to me with Little man. So the end verdict yesterday was that he was head down, heartbeat was in the right place, and if he wasn't 100% my 38th week visit they would give me an ultrasound. I'm just getting the feeling that they don't want me to VBAC and this is their way of prolonging the inevitable C-section, but I know I'm also being paranoid because of what happened last time. My BP was good yesterday and I did my Group B Strep test. I'm now on weekly visits so I go back again next Monday. He also said that he would give me a vaginal check if I was having contractions. I've been having irregular period like cramps off and on which to my recollection are the start of contractions, but I feel like I've forgotten everything from my last pregnancy with Little man (except for the breech ordeal) so I need to read up on everything.
Little man got sick while we were gone. I think he finally got what R and I had but it took a really long time for him to come down with it. I thought we were in the clear because he hadn't gotten sick before we left. I was almost over the cold by the time we left so I thought if he were going to get it that he would have had it before then. He has been coughing and blowing yuckies out of his nose. His temp did go up while we were gone so my mom had to give him Tylen.ol and one day he pretty much layed around all day, but other than that I think he's getting better. I just hope I don't get sick again.
Well I have a lot to do today. My mom had the house completely sparkling clean when we got home and it was the nicest feeling in the world! Now since we've hauled in all our crap it's cluttered and messy again so I'm going to work today on trying to get things put away, laundry done, and stuff cleaned.

I'm so happy to hear that your trip went so well! I've never been to Baltimore...maybe one day.
Hopefully, your doctor will take your VBAC wishes very seriously and do everything he can to make it happen.
I was scared Christian would be breech too, but I could tell my body just felt different. Even if the baby turns and becomes breech at 38 wks, it's not the end! We went to a chiropractor to adjust my hips and give the baby a little more room to flip, they also do a medical procedure....i forget the name...but they hook you up to fetal monitors just in case and a doctor manually flips the baby from the outside. I"ve heard that's pretty painful though. I"m sure you won't ned any of that and YOu're going to have an awesome VBAC!
