Three Times Today!!!
Little man used the potty three times today!!!! I still think he can't really tell when he has to go because they all seemed like they just happened and it really surprised him. We have the potty with the music and every time the music would start because he was peeing he would gasp. It was so cute. So maybe we will finally get potty trained for pee, I think poop is going to take longer. I got him signed up for a music class that starts tomorrow morning so hopefully that will give him something fun to do as well as other children to interact with. We got out his portfolio and pictures from his old daycare and he was naming all the kids and admiring his art work. I sure so miss that daycare!!! I know that may seem terrible to some people but I liked the social interaction and curriculum at his daycare, which was actually a preschool. I can't seem to provide the same type of environment that he loved at daycare. Mainly because we live in such a small town and I don't really know anyone, despite my efforts to try to go places to meet people. We start story hour on Wednesday so hopefully we'll meet some people there.
So on to my grad classes.....I'm busy! Chas asked about my children's lit class and I love the material but the prof is a bit disorganized. We have a lot of daily assignments due so it's a lot of busy work. All my classes are online so it's a lot of paper writing and group discussions. Online learning has it's benefits but I am missing face to face interaction. Hopefully next semester it will work out that I will actually get to take the classes towards my early childhood endorsement on campus. It all depends on where we end up and if it's too far to drive.
So R and I got to tailgate on Saturday with some friends and then go watch the game at the bar. It was a fun afternoon. My mom watched Little Man and they had a good time going to the library and eating icecream. I think Little Man is lucky that we live with my parents and he gets to see them so often. I think he has seen his grandparents more than I've seen mine over my entire life. They only live three hours away but we didn't see them much when we were kids. We actually see them more now that we are grown because we get together more often mainly because I think we realize that they are getting older.
Well I have to get busy on school work so I will update more later on in the week.
